The 7th Workshop of Artificial Life Japan (JSAI SIG-ALIFE)

We are happy to announce the Alife-Japan Workshop #7, on Saturday, September 30, 2023 (Sat).

Outline

The main goal of this workshop is to provide to discuss, collaborate, and get feedback on recent Artificial Life research. We especially welcome and encourage submissions you plan to submit to ALIFE24 in Copenhagen. We hope this will be a chance to strengthen your research and papers before submission!

The workshop will be hybrid, with both on-site and online participation possible. On-site participation will be in Kyoto at Cross Labs (follow the on-site signs for the room).

Since it is a hybrid workshop, we welcome submissions and participation from ALifers from anywhere in the world!

By the end of the workshop, you will have:

  • A list of actionable items for your research
  • Potential new collaborators
  • Feedback on your submission poster and/or research project

Supercharge the impact of your research!

You’re writing a paper and aren’t sure which audience to address. Who do you want to read your work? What context should you frame it in?

Or maybe you have an idea but aren’t sure what you could do that would be the most beneficial to the field. How can you approach this problem?

In this session, we will develop a strategy plan tailored to your project and goals. We will identify your target audience, people to ask questions to, and the next steps you’ll need to make to reach your goals.
