We are happy to announce the Alife-Japan Workshop #5 on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 (National Holiday).
In the 5th workshop, we delightedly welcome Prof. Hiroyuki Iizuka (CHAIN: Hokkaido University – Center for Human Nature, Artificial Intelligence, and Neuroscience) to give an invited talk, in addition to the general presentations (15 min talk and 10 min Q&A changed to 20 min including Q&A). General presentations are invited on a wide range of topics related to autonomy, evolution, consciousness, and other phenomena that characterize “life-like behavior.”

The workshop will be held onsite at Keio University, Yagami Campus, and in a hybrid style with online participation via Zoom. Participation is free of charge, and attendance only (with no presentation) is also welcomed.

Registration for online participation is available until the day of the event. Upon registration, the Zoom URL will be sent to your registered email address.
The number of onsite participants is limited to 400 per day for the entire event of the Joint Workshop. Those who wish to attend the event at the venue, please register earlier.
Presentation
The deadline for registration is October 12th for both onsite and online.
For those who registered as a presenter, we will send the URL for the manuscript submission form. The deadline for paper submission is November 16th.
